2015 has been a very exciting year for Mary Ellen Brown Fine Art.  We moved our Studio to Western Ave. Studios, Studio A404,  122 Western Ave., Lowell, MA.  Western Ave is the largest group of artists in one location in the United States.  With the hustle and bustle of the holidays we have Open Studios the first two weekends of December (both Sat. and Sun) from 12 to 5.  Our Loading Dock Gallery on the second floor is also chock full of beautiful artistic gifts for your shopping pleasure all month (Wednesday thru Saturday 12 to 5:30pm)   Please come to my studio,  I would love to see you all.  I have lots of paintings, cards, giclee' prints and some jewelry in for your viewing, Oh and my new 2016 desk calendar everyone has been asking about at $10. each

Lots of new things happening in my Art World.  First my painting "Orchard Blossom" was juried into The Pastel Society of New Hampshire's "It's Pastel" National show.  I was very honored to be juried into this Exhibit which runs through November 28.  If you are in that area do stop buy and see this beautiful show which is free to the public.

I am proud to announce that my painting "Orchard Blossom" has been accepted into The Pastel Society of New Hampshire  7th Annual National Juried Exhibition at the Discover Portsmouth Center Gallery, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.  The Exhibition opens Tuesday October 20th.   The Opening Reception is October 24 at 5pm.  The Exhibit runs through Saturday November 28.  This is a major Juried show with works by pastel artists from New Hampshire and numerous other states.  The event is free and open to the public.

Hello to all my friends,

             It's been a busy and exciting year.  I attended IAPS 2015 (International Association of Pastel Societies) in Albuquerque, NM in April with pastelists from around the world and took a number of workshops.  One with Lyn Diefenbach called "Floral Portraits" was amazing.  I am chairing her 3 day "Floral Portraits" Pastel Workshop here in Londonderry,  NH  May 10, 11, and 12,  2016,  9:30 to 4:30 daily.    For the application and bio contact me at mebrownart@yahoo.com  To view her work - www.ldief.com 
       I am so excited to announce the opening of my new studio at Western Ave. Studios #A404,  at 122 Western Ave., Lowell, Mass.  Western Ave. Studios is the largest group of artist on the east coast. We will have Open Studios Sept. 5 from 12:00 to 5:00pm,   I can fully concentrate on painting,  no hearing the laundry, cleaning, cooking, etc. calling my name and I am loving it.  Great people all around me doing the same.   I will be open - come on in.  My Grand Opening will be Oct. 3rd and 4th from 12:00 to 5:00 pm.  They will also be celebrating Artoberfest.  "Artful Biergarten" with local craft beer/mead tastings,  Saturday evening Music in the Onyx Room featuring the Oom Pa Pas play benefitting the Miracle Providers Northeast.  Hope to see you all there.
